I am preparing a lesson for youth tonight on setting goals. The story of John Goddard comes to mind. (Watch video above for more details.) His case is extreme and he made some mistakes in how he set his priorities concerning his family. In comparison what do my life goals look like? Psalm 37:4 in the Contemporary English Version says…
“Do what the Lord wants and he will give you your heart’s desire.”
The meaning of this verse is two-fold. If we do what the Lord wants our desires will line up with His and then He will see the fulfillment of those desires. What Godly desires are being birthed on the inside of you today?
