Psalm 37:23 (NLT)
23 The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.
This is a confession statement that I make over my daughters when I pray for them. It goes something like this.
“I thank you, Lord, for Kathryn, Lauren, and Trinity. Their steps are ordered by you. I thank you all the days of their lives they are serving you and walking out your purpose. Godly desires are being cultivated on the inside of them. Every detail of their life is something you delight in and your hand is in each one. The jobs, assignments, careers, callings, and education that you have for them are lining up right now. So are the finances. Right now you are raising up Godly friends for them. In fact, you are also raising up Godly men for them to marry right now. Men who will love them like Christ loves the church. Men who treat them like princesses like their heavenly and earthly father’s examples. “
Its never too early (or too late) to pray these prayers.
